Cheerleading is a fun activity that brings together a passion for school spirit while developing a keen sense of teamwork. Our coaches are CFCA alumnus and former cheerleaders. Our Middle School squad works to create a foundation for cheer and stunting skills that will carry over once they are on the Varsity Squad.
Our Varsity squad is a team of goal driven upper classmen. Our cheerleaders make personal and squad goals at the beginning of the summer, and we work hard all season toward those goals. Varsity participates in summer camp with Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders. Camp is a full week of learning dance, cheer, stunt, jump, and foundational technique.
Recently, our head coaches have integrated Competition Game Day Cheerleading into our program. Game Day is a growing competition. GIAA is working to gain momentum in Game Day cheer. There is an Invitational Game Day Competition and the GIAA State Game Day Competition. Our competition girls participate in both. The Competition squad is a selected group of girls from the Varsity squad. Competition is not mandatory, but most girls love the atmosphere of both competition and the regular season.
The CFCA cross country and track and eld teams have a rich history, with numerous Region and State Championships. Over the years, the Lord has rewarded the hard work of many CFCA cross country and track and field athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. Whether competing or training, the ultimate goal of our program is to help our student athletes learn the value of hard work, being part of a team, achieving both personal and team success, and ultimately using those lessons to bring glory to God in all that we do.

We want to become the premier basketball program in Middle GA. We have built a culture of working hard; win or lose nobody will outwork our team. In recent years we have seen tremendous success within the program. We have gone to back-to back nal fours, to go with multiple region championships over the last few years. CFCA basketball has an impressive 45-10 record in the last 2 seasons. And the future is bright with lots of young talent that continues to improve.
Coach Riley brings a wealth of passion and commitment to the CFCA girls program. He has 17 years experience coaching at the youth level as well as AAU and Travel basketball for over 12 years. His unwavering approach, passion, commitment and sense of pride has produced winning players and teams at every age group. A strong emphasis on fundamentals is the core of his approach to developing young players with an emphasis on teamwork, selessness, and unity. By encouraging players to think about the team’s success before personal accolades, this builds a cooperative environment where players are invested in each other’s development. Our coaches have a passion for basketball while being committed to mentoring young ladies and helping them develop their fullest potential.
CFCA girls soccer is in the middle of a great run in terms of championships. The 2024 season ended with a bang as a strong finish lead to the Lady Lancers winning the AA state title. Philosophically, our coaches keep things simple. We dedicate the needed time for skill development, but we hope to emphasize hard work and effort more than anything. Historically we’ve had strong goal keepers and goal scorers who’ve made our teams very competitive. The current trajectory of this program looks really strong and we expect to compete for more championships in the
coming years!

Boys’ soccer has a long tradition of excellence at CFCA. The last several seasons have seen a welcomed resurgence with multiple region championships. The overarching goal of the program is to field a highly competitive team where players strive for individual growth while working together to achieve team success. We strive to maintain a culture of hard work while learning to love the game and enjoy competing together. We have a dedicated focus on individual player skill development of all upper school boys soccer players (grades 6-12.) We also strive to continue to provide a developmental platform for players to pursue their goals of playing intercollegiate men’s soccer following in the footsteps of multiple former Lancers over the past several years. We look forward to the future successes of the Lancers Boys Soccer team.
CFCA has recently resurrected the girls volleyball program. In 2024, girls volleyball had over 20 young ladies compete in a non-region schedule to get the program going again. They look to build on the experience gained from this past season and compete in an ocial GIAA region this coming fall.
